- The bio-mimetic composition includes essential moisturizing components that are naturally present in the skin but are depleted with age: Hyaluronic Acid, Urea, Lactic Acid and Sodium Lactate, Sodium PCA, a Mineral Complex (similar in composition to that of the Dead Sea) and Mono- and Poly-saccharides that mimic the sugars responsible for strengthening cell membranes such as L-FUCOSE and the natural hydrocolloids Aloe Vera and Carob.
- Highly suitable as a moisture restoring relief following treatments with heat generating devices or treatments that involve skin exfoliation. However, it is important not to let this supplement dry on the skin without any oil containing emollient “covering” it. HA is so hygroscopic that it may draw moisture OUT when its own water has evaporated.
